About KIDabra International's Mark and Tami Daniel

About Mark Daniel Mark Daniel is a full-time children's performer, who as a child, developed a love for books that has continued and strengthened through the years. A librarian took an interest in him and his fascination for magic tricks, and helped ignite the spark by broadening his knowledge through reading.

A pioneer in his approach to magical storytelling he is acclaimed nationwide by peers as a mentor, consultant and guru on the topic of magically bringing children's books to life. His video Book Magic is a bestseller in the industry released through SPSmagic.com. He is often invited to conferences as a seminar presenter for children's entertainers on the art of performing for children.

Through 38 years of performing (24 full-time) , Mark has studied, developed, and refined techniques for entertaining and motivating children, which have garnered praise throughout the educational community. Mark's original series of performances, Those Magical Dinosaurs! and the READasaurus Programs have been seen by over three million elementary school students throughout Eastern United States during the past 20 plus years.

Today, as a Reading Ambassador, Mark performs over 200 shows annually for schools, libraries, and festivals up and down the East coast.

Mark was twice invited and performed at The White House Easter Egg Roll .

Mark and Tami, are the directors of KIDabra International, an association that each August during it's conference, attracts hundreds of children's entertainers who gather from across the country and many parts of the world for educational seminars and shows.

Tami Daniel is the person who makes The KIDabra Journal happen as Managing Editor and is the Director of Member Services for KIDabra Association and the Conference. In addition she is Mark's tour manager, busy mother and successful Unit Leader for Creative Memories (the company that began and leads the way of the Scrapbooking phenomena).

Mark and Tami reside out in the countryside near Mocksville, NC with their identical sports and book loving teenage twin sons, Robert and Stephen.
