On May 1, 2004, at Rowan University's gala opening of the Edelman Planetarium, Donna Horn levitated a three-hundred pound cake sculpture of a NASA astronaut standing on the moon. The entire confectionery sculpture was edible--including the astronaut's helmet, uniform, moon boots, and life support system. Even the American flag and the hundreds of moon rocks on the lunar surface were edible! |
