The Society of American Magicians Assembly 4 in Philadelphia awarded Donna Horn the coveted Ed Hild Jr.Trophy--Best Children's Entertainer for 2002 and Best Children's Entertainer for 2006 and 2009.
The International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ring 165, awarded Donna Horn the Best Stage Magician for 2006 and 2008. IBM also awarded Donna Horn second place Close-Up Magician 2007 and 2009
In addition. KIDabra International featured Donna Horn on the cover of the March 2009 issue of the KIDabra International Journal--the firt time in history a woman has ever been featured on the cover of the KIDabra Journal. %Donna Horn's confectionery replica of the new U.S.commemorative stamp to honor Houdini was featured in the August 2002 issue of the Society of American Magicians' MUM Magazine.
Every part of the levitated Houdini cake was edible, including the the chains that bind Houdini and the playing card that he holds in his hand!
On May 1, 2004, at Rowan University's gala opening of the Edelman Planetarium, Donna Horn levitated a three-hundred pound cake sculpture of a NASA astronaut standing on the moon. The entire confectionery sculpture was edible--including the astronaut's helmet, uniform, moon boots, and life support system. Even the American flag and the hundreds of moon rocks on the lunar surface were edible!
