'Jerry Pierce entertained the entire student body of Burton Elementary School with a magic assembly. He did an outstanding job. Everyone enjoyed the assembly. We wanted to hire a magician to give our students variety in gaining their goals. Jerry Pierce did a super job. His performance was excellent! September 29, 2005 Thank you to Jerry Pierce for his professionalism and flexibility. We had Jerry perform his ‘I Love To Read magic show’ at our Parents as Teachers, Educators retreat. We were very impressed with his magic and especially with his story. As educators we love to hear true stories of success when it comes to reading and learning. Jerry is willing to use his own personal struggles to teach others. We wanted something fun and different that we hadn't done before. Mr. Pierces 'Motivational Magic' program 'Say No' Magic Show was an excellent choice. The kids were well educated and entertained and they loved it! From his presentations of the prescription pill, game of life, ABC Stung, to the umbrella trick and Rascal the Raccoon all his tricks had a powerful message tied into them. Jerry was great at keeping the students attention and making them laugh, then bringing them back to being quiet and listening. I liked that he included a message about respect at the end of his presentation. The change in presentations between each group and grade levels worked well. We recently invited Jerry Pierce to present his 'I Love to Read' Magic Show as a PeaceBuilders reward for the students at our school. The show was fabulous. Our K-3 students were thrilled with the Magic Tricks and were engaged from the beginning because of Jerry's skill in behavior management. The ties he made between magic and reading were a great motivator, as well. The 4th-6th grade students were quickly won over as Jerry changed gears to appeal to the 'older and cooler' crowd. Jerry, your 'I Love To Read' Magic Show was Outstanding! I initially became interested in your programs while attending the PTA leadership convention and happened to visit your booth. I was very impressed with your booth and information. Your customer service was excellent! I enjoyed your audience participation (thanks for including the kids). We brought Jerry's 'I Love To Read' Magic Show to E.G. King Elementary because of recommendations from other school principals. The program was 'Terrific!'. We loved the way reading was emphasized. The humor was very appropriate and the tricks were great! We would 'most definitely' recommend Jerry's program to other schools as a great educational/motivational program for students. Jerry presented his 'Don't Laugh At Me' and 'I Love To Read' Motivational Magic programs for students and parents of Sunrise Elementary. The students really enjoyed his programs. They were all trying to figure out the magic while the message was tucked into the fun. It was a fun new approach which involved less prep work for us and still created a valuable experience.
